Status
Built from zero
Sixteen Crowns is a spiritual lifestyle brand I founded and built from the ground up. The work spans every dimension of brand creation: naming, identity, creative direction, product development, e-commerce, and the operational infrastructure to run a product-based business.
This is not a client engagement — it is a venture I own and operate. That distinction matters: every decision, from the brand's visual language to its product formulations to its customer experience, reflects a direct point of view about what the brand should be and who it is for.
"Every decision reflects a direct point of view — about beauty, intention, and what a spiritual lifestyle brand can be."
— Joy Fidis, Founder
Brand Identity
Developed the brand name, visual identity, and creative direction — establishing the aesthetic, tone, and positioning that define Sixteen Crowns across every touchpoint.
Creative Direction
Art directed all brand imagery, product photography, and content. Every visual element — from product styling to digital assets — is intentional and consistent with the brand's spiritual, elevated aesthetic.
Product Development
Develop products across multiple formats and production models — from custom-designed spiritual tools and original publications to small-batch handmade goods. Work spans concept development, design, material sourcing, hands-on fabrication, print-on-demand production, and bringing finished products to market.
E-Commerce Build
Built the digital storefront and customer journey from the ground up — structuring product collections, developing product pages, writing merchandising copy, configuring checkout and fulfillment workflows, and creating the systems that move each product from discovery through delivery.
Brand Voice & Copy
Develop the written voice of Sixteen Crowns across brand, product, and editorial work — from website and merchandising copy to product storytelling and original publications. Each format carries a consistent voice while adapting to its specific audience and purpose.
Operations
Manage the operational infrastructure of a product-based business: inventory, vendor relationships, order fulfillment, and the systems that keep the brand running day to day.
Concept & Positioning
Defined what Sixteen Crowns would stand for — its spiritual identity, its customer, and the gap in the market it was built to fill. Named the brand and established its foundational creative direction.
Identity & Aesthetic
Developed the visual identity: color, typography, imagery, and the overall aesthetic system. Built a brand that feels elevated and intentional without being inaccessible.
Product Development
Moved from concept to physical product — sourcing materials, developing formulations, selecting packaging, and making the decisions that shape what customers hold in their hands.
Commerce & Launch
Built the e-commerce storefront, wrote all product and brand copy, and launched. Established the operational systems — inventory, fulfillment, customer communications — to sustain the business post-launch.
